The trigger moment
"The trigger moment for me — I didn’t set out to create a perfume brand. I fell in love with the perfume world as a consumer. I was buying, I was smelling, I was trying. And the trigger for me was that the more I learned about it, the more I started to question, why is no one working with natural, sustainable ingredients and an ethical supply chain? That’s really where the moment happened for me. Because certainly, when I started, no one was doing this."

REal Iris in Fragrance?
"We work with only naturally derived ingredients. The converse of that is petrochemical-derived ingredients, and we're very black and white about it, I don’t want to be part of the fossil fuel supply chain."
"The crazy thing in the fragrance industry is there's no transparency. So whether you're using real iris or this petrochemical molecule, the label just says 'iris', insane, right? That's why we put our full ingredients list on our website because I think you deserve to know."
