Over a decade ago, we became the first fragrance house to share our full ingredients list.
In the fragrance industry, formulas are protected as trade secrets. Brands are only required to disclose known allergens in what’s called an INCI list (read more on what this means). The word parfum then becomes a catchall, hiding countless ingredients, additives, and preservatives.
At Abel, transparency is a core pillar of our Radical Fragrance philosophy: rethinking how fragrance is made and worn, and how it can better serve our community and environment.
