Worn by Them 03
RORY BRADSHAW & WHITNEY LOVE
In honour of Valentine’s Day, Worn By Them explores how our fragrances become an olfactory signature of those we love. Designed to be layered, shared, and worn together, our collection of genderless fragrances is a Valentine’s Day gift for all.
We spoke with Rory Bradshaw and Whitney Love to explore how scent is worn by them; shaping rituals, closeness, and moments lived together.
Rory is a UK-based yoga teacher, best known for his work teaching yoga and mindfulness inside men’s prisons. Whitney is a social media strategist and creator.
HOW DID YOU MEET
"We met in Berlin, Whitney was living there, and Rory was visiting for a few weeks amid a career break. We connected on an app and Rory asked Whitney out on a date. Over the next few hours, we talked and laughed and got to know each other, realizing we had a lot of shared values as well as an intense attraction for each other. Over the next few weeks, we had a true summer of love. Whitney showed Rory all the reasons why she loves Berlin, and the rest is history." — Rory

Your favourite Abel scent

"The Apartment, a rich, comforting and soothing scent that reminds me of a cosy evening in." — Whitney
Your rituals
"We have a bedtime ritual where half an hour before going to sleep, we take the time to be present with each other, hang out, laugh about what's going on that day, and be silly with each other.
We visit Berlin often, and for us, it's like a second home. Each time we go, we make sure we visit our favourite place to restore and relax: a spa in the middle of the city called Verbali.
Each month, we take turns to organize a date for each other. Sometimes it's dinner, sometimes it's the theatre or an exhibition. And we find that creating this intentional time each month makes sure that our relationship remains nurtured amongst the busy-ness of adult life." — Rory and Whitney
