In creating Black Anise, Isaac and I set out to prove to the world once and for all that natural didn’t need to mean simple, botanical and subtle. That actually, done well, natural perfume can also be dark, sexy and strong.
In creating Black Anise, Isaac and I set out to prove to the world once and for all that natural didn’t need to mean simple, botanical and subtle. That actually, done well, natural perfume can also be dark, sexy and strong.
To create this sultry intense beauty, we turned to the depths of the natural palette. Dark spices such as the scent’s namesake star anise have a silky rich aspect, especially when expertly paired with intense cassis and dark cherry. The heart and base of this scent came together in a flurry of vices - coffee, cacao and Isaac’s late night tobacco, cade and guaiac accord.
The overall effect is a confident, broody late night scent that will take you anywhere and be sure to turn heads.
